FOR YOUR BEST MATCHA YET:

1. Bloom your whisk: Place the bamboo chasen in the Suna Bowl and pour warm water over it — let it sit for 30 seconds whilst the ceramic warms
2. Empty and prepare: Discard the water and gently dry the bowl interior
3. Measure precisely: Use the Best Perfect Scoop to measure 1–3g (one perfect scoop for standard serving)
4. Sift for smoothness: Add a Sifter Leaf to your sieve, then sift the matcha into your chawan for ultra-fine powder
5. Add water: Pour 60–80ml of hot water (70–80°C) over the matcha
6. Whisk to perfection: Hold the chawan steady with one hand whilst whisking briskly in a zigzag or "M" motion until beautifully frothy (15–20 seconds)
7. Savour the ritual: Cradle the bowl in both hands and enjoy mindfully
8. Care for your tools: Rinse the chasen with warm water (no soap), reshape the tines gently, and place prongs-down on the Suna Kusenaoshi to air dry
